Description: The Conspectus is a strategy for setting acquisitions guidelines (benchmarks) for academic disciplines. This entails relating the number of titles published each year, broken down by the Library of Congress Classification system, to Drake's curriculum. Call numbers are assigned to each academic discipline and the % of the volumes being published are weighted by the level of the program (as assigned in the Collection Development Policy).
