Let us know what you'd like to see by filling out this request form. Cowles Library is the largest private academic library in the state of Iowa. The purpose of the library is to support the educational goals of Drake by providing services, collections, technology, and learning opportunities that make it possible for faculty and students to successfully access and use information. The primary emphasis of the collection is placed upon acquiring and accessing materials that expand upon and support the curriculum, and that support faculty teaching. Of particular interest is the dramatic increase in access to electronic materials, which are available from the dorm rooms as well as off-campus: 35,703 electronic books, 27,500 electronic journals, and 134 electronic databases.
