The Britannica Online database contains so much more than an encyclopedia.

The home page has news feeds from the The New York Times, BBC News, and SBS News.

Look at the Research Tools (on the left hand side) for World Data Analyst. Here you can find information about, and compare, countries. There is demographic, census, and statistical information from the 1930s to the present!

And, if all that weren't enough, students and teachers can save information from the database by clicking the Workspace tab at the top of the page!

Fun Fact: Double-click any word in any article and Mirriam-Webster's Dictionary pops up giving you a definition and a sound file of the correct pronunciation.
