Cowles Library is pleased to announce that users now have access to the JSTOR Life Sciences Collection. This collection combines the Health and General Sciences Collection and the Biological Sciences Collection, both of which Cowles Library previously had access to.

This new combined collection will be JSTOR's largest, with over 5.5 million pages available today and scheduled to grow to more than seven million. "At its completion, it will comprise a minimum of 160 titles spanning disciplines in the biological, health, and general sciences. Through the multidisciplinary Proceedings and Transactions of the Royal Society, PNAS, Science, Science News, and BioScience, the collection features scholarship and news from across the sciences. The collection also includes a number of the most highly cited journals in the fields of biology, botany & plant sciences, ecology & evolutionary biology, immunology, ornithology, and zoology. JSTOR is capturing all the references in these journals, which currently are linked within the archive and will eventually link to other resources via CrossRef."
