Live! at Cowles Library featuring Herb Strentz will be April 15th at 7pm in the Cowles Library Reading Room.

Strentz's speech is titled "From the Cowles Closet"

Enjoy this glimpse into the personal and national affairs of the Cowles family, whose members have created lasting legacies in Des Moines and the nation. Herb Strentz, a professor emeritus and former dean of the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Drake, assisted the late David Kruidenier in bringing the Cowles papers to the library the family helped found.
