New Resource! Inter-University Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR)There is much more here than meets the eye! Established in 1962, ICPSR is the world's largest archive of digital social science data. This site contains a wealth of raw data from surveys, censuses and more which will aid indepth research. A wide variety of disciplines is covered such as Health Care, Law, and Education. See if there is anything of interest in your subject area by clicking here. In addition, this group also produces fascinating studies on a multitude of subjects that will appeal to almost everyone. Go to Research Projects to explore! Current projects include: Collaborative Psychiatric Epidemiology Surveys; Grammars of Death: Nineteenth Century Literal Causes of Death from the Age of Miasmas to Germ Theory; Human Subject Protection and Disclosure Risk Analysis; Mexican American Trajectories: Family, Geography, and Intermarriage Across a Century; Population and Environment in the U.S. Great Plains. NOTE: (1) To be viewed or manipulated, data may require SAS or SPSS programs which are not currently available on library computers. (2) Users must create a free account to view data.
