Recalls

Books may be recalled from patrons if they are requested by another borrower. Patrons may use books for three weeks before they are recalled. Books requested for class reserves are subject to immediate recall.

Books that have been recalled may not be renewed.

Requests

Patrons may place a request on books that are charged out to another borrower by stopping at the Circulation Desk or by telephoning Cowles Library (271-2111).

A Drake ID is required to place a request. Patrons will be notified by telephone or email when books are available to be picked up. Books will be held at the Circulation Desk for 10 days after the patron is notified.
